The Center (NMRC) offers multimedia technologies for the design, editing, digitalization and editing of imaging, sound, video, and text in the preparation of new formats of information. These technologies are constantly evaluated in the face of industry trends, university needs and faculty use. For the

NMRC is equipped with 10 high-end computers. Four machines have scanners that may be used for digitizing images, text, 35mm slides and transparencies. Additionally, the lab supports DVD/CD-ROM developments for Mac and PC platform, video editing technologies, electronic publishing, 35mm slide scanners and slide maker. Among the OS system are the Mac OS 9 and Windows 2000, XP, 1 Vista and 1 Linux.
Software
The Center's Software Collection includes an array of programs to support desktop publishing, high end graphics, scanning, digitizing 35mm slides plus other formats.
The key group includes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat (PDF writer): graphics Packages- Corel Draw, Freehand, Canvas, Ulead's Photo Impact as well as an array of software to facilitate the preparation, enhancement and production of multimedia type files and projects.
